not sure if they are the same ones seahorse. Im primarily an M&M girl, but i fell in love with him, when we went to see him as my mum wanted an arab on the yard (she worked in saudi for a long time) so hes a bit of a step away from my normal. Mum says his blood lines are lovely but i wouldnt have a clue!

Just had a look at his pedigree, him and my horse are distantly related through Blue Domino as Saker has him twice and he's your horses great grandsire!

I don't really count myself as a true IHDG person, because I'm not much of an IH person. I spend a lot of time on the much-maligned "other forum".

Another beautiful boy, he looks very fine, takes after the Psyche side of the family rather than the Ben Rabba bit, I'm a huge fan of Ben Rabba horses and used to ride quite a few of them a long time ago, they are very easy to identify! I am very sad with all this bloodline malarkey.........two lines to Amurath in this boy too!

Yes, I'm a bit sad about bloodlines too.
He's very different to my Arab mare, she's 16hh and has The Shah and Crystal Magician in her bloodlines.

Amazing how different these arabs can be isn't it?
My Amurath mare is barely 14h and so fine that she looks as if she'd snap, yet I had a 15h Crabbet mare (Sheer Magic lines) that was the chunkiest little thing with a fairly plain head, she threw a colt to a Ben Rabba stallion that was 15.1 as a 2 year old and still growing when I sold him at 4.
When the den Hartogs first started bringing the Russians over for racing I was amazed at how un-araby (very straight faced) they looked and some were huge, we went to Holland to his stud and they just looked like thoroughbreds out in the fields, they could all shift a bit though, even the little ones. I used to look after Duma and Demon (Demon is in Wales now I believe) Duma just looked like a little pony mare but would run the legs off some of the larger horses she raced against.
