fab! Would be a good outing for my little fat cob! Frankie is uber chilled so would probably be a good influence. Hes slow to load, but once hes on WW£ could break out and so long as he had hay he couldnt care less :D

Haha!! YO said Ned travelled really well, it's just getting on and off. She said he has to be off first with no faffing, but I'll make sure I get something sorted and practice a LOT! :D :D

Depending on date and venue I might be interested- if it's at cricklands you won't need a driving representative but if elsewhere I'd be happy to teach driving/long reining unless you had someone else lined up. Depending on cost and venue would depend on if I took mine- he's not much of a happy hacker unless you like going very fast at trot and has only just learnt how to jump :p

This sounds absolutely brilliant. Haven't read all the pages but love your initial ideas especially with having international trainers there who could coach as well and the specialists for discussion on the first day. Would be great to meet more horse people! I have been to Cricklands a few times and would be a huge thumbs up from me for this venue. A huge undertaking to organise though!!

Would love to come :) especially if we can keep costs low!! Won't be bringing a horse, and if anyone else in my area/on the way-ish not bringing a horse would like to car-share, I'm happy to drive :)

I would also be interested in attending with or without horse provide people dont mind a grumpy old geezer joining.
While you are looking at venues can I suggest Moulton Colledge. The place is pretty empty during the student summer holidays. Lots of free stables. Large indoor and outdoor. Small XC course plus the have an equine hydro therapy unit on site which would make an interesting visit.

I am juggling dates around and still waiting on a few confirmations so will give them a call on Monday and add them to the list if they fit the bill.

Thanks Paddy :)

Should hopefully have update middle of next week xx

I think this is a great idea, I'd love to be involved.

I'm in Essex though, with no transport of my own, so I could only manage it if there is someone to share transport hire with, or someone with room for a well behaved welsh cob. Fab idea though :)

I would share transport, I have a good trailer I can use but nothing to tow it with currently

Only just come across this thread...is there a view on dates/locations?? Could be interested if people don't mind sharing a flatwork class with a 12hh Exmoor!! :D

Still chasing...seems it is a bad time of year for pinning people down but everyone is keeping in touch, so I'm going to give it another couple of weeks before I start ruling venues out.

I've just seen this too and would be interested although I'm worried I'd feel a little left out as I've not been on here long and so many of you seem to have established such good relationships but I am sure I will not be the only one in the same situation! I don't think I'd be able to bring my chubby, fluffy New Forest pony as he's not in regular work and am on a private yard where it's just the two of us so can't leave the other alone but would be happy to car share if anybody needed a lift. I'm in Shropshire x

I am another who would be interested depending on cost/location :)

I would be horseless as my mare is only a hack these days but it still sounds fun :D
