There are a number of videos of the horse from 2018 on the facebook page of the girl who had him in for schooling livery - search JJ and they come up. Sadly I think he is real and current owner is hugely out of their depth

OK, I will. But can you just tell me about Hay please. I have 2 professional one saying keep feeding no matter how fat he gets, the other saying feed 12 kg, and if he eats it he eats it
As SEL has said above, soak it. I don’t like soaking for ages but have bitten the bullet with my really fat pony. I soak over night in clean fresh water, rinse will.
Feed in a small holed net, it will keep him busier for longer as he has to work at getting it.- however I would say hang it in different places so he’s not pulling the same way constantly.
You could feed a bucket of chopped straw, lower calories but if he’s hungry he will eat it.
I do think it’s ok for an over weight horse to run out occasionally. I’m not talking standing with nothing for hours but I will top my pony up literally a few handfuls to keep him going rather than a whole net.

See the other thread if you still doubt this is a troll. Axe now claiming to be 13 and using language that will get her banned anyway. She's been reported, but not by me. I don't care how she swears at me, and I'd quite have liked it to stay so people could see it. I've got a screenshot if it gets deleted.
.
Like everyone I'm hoping she's a troll so interested in where she says she's 13 because in April she said she was 15.

Unfortunately, the horse is real and she or her parents own it. When the first thread went up I recognised the horse details. It was my friend that passported him and gave him his name. In the other thread with the picture of him riding Prelim that was when she owned him but the lady in the picture competed him for her. I know why she brought him and why she sold him on and there was nothing dodgy in it (PM for full details as not my story to tell on the internet). But I met him and loved him she did not have any issues as mentioned by the OP, she is an excellent owner and her horses have wanted for nothing. The OP fb stalked her, she agreed to talk to the OP mother she gave all the details she had it was 5 years ago!!

Oh that's awfully sad - I was convinced it wasn't true , so sorry OP for that !

I really feel for this horse

Was really hoping it was a troll, poor horse.

Seems OP has either been banned or left as her profile isn’t accessible now.

@axe1312

I feel utterly disappointed with your behaviour on these threads! I, for one have tried to help you with various questions you have asked me! I have had horses since I was 11 and am now 47!
My advice was correct and many others told you the same sound advice.
This horse if it is even real is in danger, he would be better off with someone who can give him exactly what he needs.
He is certainly far too much horse for a 13 year old girl! You should be kicking about on a 13.2 cobby type.

These types of horses Need very experienced handlers and owners that have time effort and money to put into their horses.

He is completely wasted with you, you would be better off being honest with all his issues and advertising him as a project and you might be lucky and get someone like me who would be prepared to do that and rehabilitate a horse or even give it the chance!

Im sorry if my words upset you but speaking to other forum members in the manner you have, has disappointed me greatly!

Horse existing doesn't mean OP is its rider or that one tenth of the ailments posted about are true. I wouldn't lose sleep over its safety. All we really know is that OP knows of the horse's existence in some way .

Certainly some of the detail is made up; possibly all.

OP has no idea how many vets are in her home town, or how far away her own vet is.

When the horse's identity was first made public & people started coming forward saying they knew of him, OP quickly said she owns a different JJ, not the one OUCH knew. :

Yep, found the horses pedigree and it matched info given. It is worrying (sometimes) how easy to trace back a horse. People can be crazy sometimes and your age makes you vulnerable already. Please be careful, he can easily be traced back to you
you got the wrong horse, ive seen it too, they arent his parents

Many times we asked for photos. Eventually an obviously old pic. of a previous owner jumping him was posted. A 13 year old is given her first horse- how many photos of it would you expect her to own?!
Many other things don't ring true but I'm not giving any more time to it.

Troll for sure.
Please no one be upset.
The schools go back on the 6th. I'm sure JJ will become well then.

Okay, I can ask. She already shown me about tacking up him. And what is rude, for example bending down to get Hay during putting on the bridle, and walking off while doing it up, and not standing to be mounted, and kicking out when boots are being put on etc.

Are you grooming and tacking up in a stable with him tied up? Horses will grab a mouthful of hay whilst taking up if its in front of them. If he's not tied up he will walk off. You need someone to hold him whilst you mount him. Kicking out with the boots tells me he's not used to having his legs handled, how old is the horse?

I have quite severe OCD (and have my whole life). tbh if this isn’t a troll some of the things said and her level of anxiety and the searching for reassurance are ringing massive alarm bells for me. “I’m convinced he’s dying”… meanwhile ALL the professionals are telling her he’s fine and if he isn’t it certainly isn’t life or death. “Please answer this question again and then I’ll go”: that’s compulsive, anxiety reducing behaviour to me.

Axe, if you’re real, please talk to your parents about how you’re feeling about this horse and the situation. And STAY AWAY from the forum for your mental wellbeing and ours.

Also think you should sell up and get something completely unquirky so as not to set you off again.

Having just checked my email…

She has emailed me an apology, apologising for lying about her age. The issues are real but I think its still too much horse for a child.

Oh :-( I feel so sad about this whole situation. And I agree with @ponynutz , if the OP's situation is real I'm not surprised she's feeling so anxious - I would be too. It does sound like she really needs a nice straightforward wee cob to have fun with. Buying the wrong horse / over-horsing yourself isn't anything to be ashamed about, it just happens sometimes and you need to sell and move on.

Your absolutely right, I know her full name and she is a real person on facebook with pictures that match what she has asked me to post for her previous, I do not think she is a troll, she is just a little girl with too much inexperience.

She will have been banned for telling me to **** off when I pointed out on the other thread that her question had already been answered on this thread. I didn't report her, I don't mind swearing, but someone else did.

For her own sake I hope she takes time away from the forum. Her parents need to be getting a grip of the situation with this horse before he hurts someone.

If you can contact her will you tell her that was good of her and her apology is accepted. I tried to help her by PM too but she just wasn't listening. I hope she and the horse can get the help they both need, the parents have so much to answer for here.

ETA whoever sold this horse for a 13 year old child needs a good slap too.

Well, she has take some of what I said on board and thanked me for everything , I feel sorry for her in a way, I cant help it, its just too much horse for her, she needs a teenagers pony a kind of point and go.
I have emailed her back, I really feel for the whole situation and feel she is far too young to even articulate herself vocally in these situations especially on a forum.

We literally posted 20 times on previous threads she made that they were classic ulcer symptoms...no need to Google 😂
The trouble is ulcers can also resemble other issues. Poor body condition, teeth grinding, poor performance, bolting, bucking and extreme girthiness all present with Lari.

He had kissing spines and was negative to scoping for ulcers.

Yes, but you tested for them. Not testing for them when you have symptoms of them is pretty inexcusable (unless you go straight for treatment without a scope).

Any so-called behaviourist saying the horse is taking the piss is in fact taking the piss and shouldn't call themselves a behaviourist!

I'm afraid if you or your parents aren't prepared to spend the money to provide veterinary treatment to a horse in pain , you shouldn't own horses. Or any animals.
This poor , poor horse is trying to tell you but no one listens 😢
