As title really...

I have just moved my boys to my instructors, now takes me 10 minutes on a good run, its the furthest I have ever had them, have always been within a 5 minute drive and within walking/cycling distance. Where they are now is quite a fast road so although takes 10minutes in the car would prob take a good half hour to cycle and a lot longer to walk!!

I used to keep my girl somewhere that took me 20-30 minutes by car (that sucked).

I now keep her at a yard 1.3 miles away, takes about 3 minutes by car and about 20-30 minutes to walk.

from front door walk down the drive & round the corner , 30 seconds

About 5 mins by car and to walk it is about half an hour because it's all main roads or you have to go over the downs

I wish i was as close as the rest of you but it takes me 25-30 mins and is 13miles away. The yard is amazing and most of the time it is worth every mile i travel.

I have to keep reminding myself that the horses are really happy and that is what matters.

10-15 minutes - all small quiet roads so doesnt really vary. would take forever to walk!

My favourite was when i was at university - i was in halls and my horse was on campus too, 3 minute walk - could just about see her stable from my window!

15-20 mins depending on traffic. In really bad traffic, up to an hour. Only 8 miles away though, not sure how it takes me so long?!

It's not too bad really, but it is a bit gutting when I get up at 5.30 every morning, drive to the yard, only to find my horse refuses to be caught. Ungrateful little cow bag!

Me too, except I'd never get anything done at home if that was the case, I'd keep popping outside

I so wish I could have them at home - not much chance when I live in a flat, I guess one could have the bike shed and the other the bin room?!

3 mins by car I timed it the other day but I'm far too lazy to even contemplate walking it!
Ets oh i forgot though 2 of them will b about 2 seconds out of my back door when I move them this month.

During winter they are opposite my bed room window

but since March they have been 30 minutes drive away

They are kept where I work though so I have to go there everyday anyway so it's not to bad really.

It takes me 20 mins on a good day and out of rush hour, but could take me anything upto 40 mins when the traffic is busy. Thats all from home, if I come from work at 30 mins good and anything upto an hour bad........but the place is ideal for my horse......

Used to be 15 mins away and now 15 seconds....I do appreciate every second of having mine at home believe me!

Morning feeds in my PJs cant be beaten!
