I give up!! Separation anxiety??

How long have you had her ? it can take them awhile to settle into a place my mare was a nightmare when i first got her she came in every night even in the summer until she learned that being away from others and being in the stable or the field on there own is okay.

Iv'e been told before to basically work around other people. that's easy to say but what do you do if that horse gets hurt and needs to be on boxrest turning out 24/7 isn't a solution well it is but not a long term one.


one of the ways of helping is to get someone else with another one of her horsey freinds to take there horse for a walk for a few mintues at first and build up til they don't mind being left on there own because they no there'll see there freinds again

Had her one year and 4 months, been at current stables about 5 months though. Thank you :)
