I have exciting news!!

Hello everybody!

Hope you are all well.

I have the BEST news. I have been given a pony and horse to exercise twice a week - both of which are of incredible temperament and perfect for me!

I am so happy - and it makes Princes early retirement all the sweeter as I can still enjoy riding but spend the majority of my time fussing Prince AND my daughter and son now have a pony to ride!

So it has all fallen into place!

Oh thank you so much guys! It’s been quite a week! The heavy guilt I have carried with me for a year now (for buying the “wrong” horse for my daughter) is finally absolved.

That is wonderful news! I really like the look of the grey. And the pony looks sweet.

Thank you so much - the grey is called Henry and he is an absolute stalwart. Well over 17 hands but so steady and slow - perfect for me! I had the most wonderful day today - we were plodding down the lane - but because his hooves are so enormous he makes quite a noise.. and some workers on a neighbouring house came out to see what was going on and they all stood outside waving as we plodded past! I felt so proud ???

That's wonderful, I'm so pleased for you. It's great that there's a pony for your children to ride too, that sounds perfect. Henry looks lovely, but huge! Still, better to ride a big, safe horse than a smaller one that you can't relax on. I hope you have the happiest times riding these lovely horses, you deserve it. ?
