I just bought my first cob! Introduction + feed advice + photos!

What a great update, I'm pleased you're doing so well.
House looks fab.
Good luck tomorrow! However I'm sure you'll be fine, you are so thorough in your horse's training I've every confidence you wouldn't be taking him if he wasn't ready!

When you're ready for a farm ride, you know where I am ....

Sadly, I now have no one to look after the animals when I'm not here, so 6 hours out of the house is my maximum. I was going on another beach camp, which I have had to cancel. The big thing is that I have made a monumental effort to get on top of stuff. I sent the little tractor off for repair, over £600, but it now cuts all the grass in under 3 hours. I have had decorators in the main room, £700 but now it looks tidy. The pictures cost a fortune too, but they look great.

The builder has started on the little jobs (£500 - there were many of them) but next week is tackling the roof. I just think that getting the house straight is a priority.

He was ready a few weeks back, he was going... then when David died, he had 5 weeks off... and has only had 1 week back in work 🤣. He is usually hacked alone or with one other. Only ridden out in a group once, on the beach, although he was OK. That was a year ago though. But, he is generally an affable chap. I am expecting a bit of excitement. I have ordered a green ribbon. Was supposed to be here by 9pm!

Next year, the year after, whenever you're on top of the maintenance we can find you stabling for two and have a real fun weekend, with curry. Something to look forward to, maybe, no pressure, no time targets, just when life gets more bearable. You're doing such an amazing job, R.

The green ribbon was not delivered by Amazon, it will now be between 10th and 12th 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Happily, my neighbour had some green ribbon. It is the fanciest green ribbon ever, with pink dogs and red bones printed on - BH will look simply fabulous!

Sometimes early mornings are the hardest, with an empty house. It catches me off guard. An always empty house.

Bet I won't be thinking about it in a few hours though.
