Oh God! I'm so sorry! He looked such a lovely boy... I know how sad and empty you must be feeling right now but take some comfort that you did everything you could for him and ultimately the kindest thing for him. He will be watching over you now and thanking you forever. big hugs xxx

some of our horses are really special and when we have to let such an equine friend go, it leaves a huge hole in our heart which can never be filled, even so in time a new equine friend may come along.

Everyone of your posts made me cry even more (to be expected), he was the cheekiest chappy with the biggest character ever. Yes he could be a bit of a thug but at the same time he was also the most gentle horse ever, he never lifted a leg to kick anyone in 16 years that i owned him. He was so careful with those that were smaller than him and so gentle with my dogs and minis..............I love you bog boy
 
I am so sorry for your loss :( It has been just over a month since I lost Monty, so I can really sympathise with what you are going through.

You gave him a happy life and, although you are sad at the moment, before too long you will look back and smile about all the special times you had.
