Fabulous thread. I'm so happy for you. It's wonderful when we can truely appreciate the beauty of something so seemingly simple.
I had that last Thursday when I cantered on Roberto for the first time. Backed him last year and following the awful winter have only just started more serious schooling. Pushed him on into a canter, half expecting a buck at the very least! But he was a true gent, just a few strides but it felt brilliant!
