But they aren’t horrific under the circumstances described. And very typical of event horses I’m afraid/embarrassed to admit.
There are improvements possible with shoeing I suspect, but equally would need to be evaluated as part of the overall horse conformation and hoof X-rays.
I very much hope her farrier hasn’t been identified without their permission on the thread because a professional relationship with such a SM visible ‘personality’ would definitely need stage managing.
If it’s true this horse / any horse is crippled if they loose a shoe then this would be the biggest concern if it were mine.
