Zach has a mini me. Some of you eagle eyed people may have noticed him on the gypsy vanner thread.
Meet Ernie. Another Dragon driving special of questionable breeding, but my gosh isn’t he cute? Pretty much unhandled and very nervous, but if you have a feed bucket to hand he quickly becomes your friend. Typical cob!
He’s been stabled for a week whilst being wormed and handled, but he went out with the big lad today (after being in a small section where they could meet over the fence for a couple days).
Needs plenty more handling practise and a visit from the vet to remove his knackers when they drop but so far so good
I think I must have the most oddball herd in existence. A Lusitano, Appaloosa, Flemish draft and now a gypsy cob. Pretty sure by now I don’t have a ‘type’ ?
So nice that Zach has a friend actually in his field, not just over the fence.
