You're clearly unhappy at the yard so you're overreacting to this. If everything else was running smoothly you wouldn't think twice about it.
What would they ask? "Please may I have the right to step foot on my own land?".
Bizarre!

I agree ,I am afraid I would not be a happy YOer if a livery thought they had the right to ban me from my own land .
I wish mine would go in more often - my automatic drinker is leaking! That said, staff members go in to pull weeds/ragwort on occasion and the YO's dad was in there fixing my gate the other day, complete with my youngster slobbering all over his shoulder. It didn't bother me at all - I just hope my horses don't bug them too much (youngster in particular loves humans a bit too much).
I'm not trying to ban YO from their land, I'm uncomfortable that they are entering my horses paddock likely on a daily occasion without my prior knowledge. All they had to do was mention that's their routine, then at least I would have known. Call me difficult if you wish but I prefer to know what is going on in close proximity to MY property in my absence. It's a 2 way street.
You won't like this but IMO you are being ridiculously precious .
This yard based on this and previous posts does not suit you .
The problem with this viewpoint is that all the liveries are on the YOs yard, if they are happier when the YO isn't there, then they need to be on their own place, or somewhere where the YO is mainly abscent, although then I'm sure many of them would complain about lack of input from the YO!I'm not offended and after realising this is common and normal for YO's I realise I am being precious but that is my nature, I really don't have a problem with anyone pointing that out! If I had of known from the beginning that is what they do then I would have had no issue.
YO has pretty much everyones back up atm, so on that I don't stand alone. It is such a shame as everything else about the yard is ideal and the liveries are lovely, disgruntled, but lovely.
Again, when this YO goes on holiday things are very relaxed and liveries are much happier!

well one would assume the OP has her horse insured at least 3rd party anyway, and that the YO is a horsey person so I think suggesting injury while they wander round the field is a bit dramatic!
