It’s too small and too young

I think you have answered your question of whether to phone or not.
If you really want him now think of solutions, why does he have to go to a yearling barn? Suss out dam and sires height to give you a guestimate, worse case scenario is he will be small but teach him to drive or sell as others have suggested but with a good foundation.

i would have a time organised to go and view if he was still for sale, even if it wasn't until next weekend. There is no harm in phoning but you don't want to waste their time.If you are definitely interested then go for it, if there is something holding you back, don't phone.
You are probably feeling a mixture of anticipation and excitement... I was apprehensive until so-called' friends (;)) on here encouraged me, and she arrived last week!
Do not know who you mean @Peregrine Falcon … do you know who it is 👀😂

He doesn’t have to I guess, it’s just that that particular youngstock option, that’s how they run it. The fields get very wet there.
I’ve tried to Google to see if there are other options locally, I can’t find any initially, that’s not to say there are none. Obviously any other option I’d have to pay for rather than work a bit extra in return for.
He * could come straight here. My horse settled when I lost my old notacob in February, it could have been coincidence, or they may have just not got along, I suppose it doesn’t mean for sure another different horse into the mix won’t work, mine are not young though.
Weight wise I should loose a bit, the weight I am now is slightly more than usual as my dog had paw problems and I’ve not been able to walk them as much as usual, that 🤞 seems to be sorted thanks to the lovely hho dog section! So we are back at it.

Have I totally missed the "this is my new mule" post 😍
Have been debating about starting one...or just put some pictures on the photo thread. the saga of finding, her, haggling price and then telling OH ! And she not a pretty cute one ..😂🤣
All you need to say is you are interested in Barney, is he still available? If so, great, leave it at that and say thank you, I'll be back in touch after speaking to my husband. Job done!

Thanks guys, I feel bereved! I'm not looking, I wasn't looking when i saw him. If i buy something else ever it will be a situation like this (but hopefully 14/14.2 and 2 yrs old!! ) one that i stumble across by accident and just go "ohhhhh myyyyy god, look at you"

Then I'll be in there much faster!

Have a happy home Barney!

With all this dithering about I bet Barney has been sold, or why don't you just phone up and see. If he has been sold then dilemma over.
(unless you are like me who tracked a mule down that had been sold at an auction!)
You found her?!
