Ours are out 24/7 between end april and 1st november
and between november and aprilthey are out for 8 to 10 hours and in the rest.

obvious exceptions are very cold/wet weather and very hot weather in the summer - in both cases our stables have the reverse conditions!

I have my horse out as much as possible.

During the summer he's usually in in the day - heat, flies and waistline. However, this week he's been out 24/7.

During the winter he is out by 7.00am and in around 4.30pm.

my two are out 24/7 in the summer unless its really heavy raining or in for a show or the farrier early morning and they come in around november and go back out in april and get at least 8 hours of turnout a day if not more

Mine is out 24 hours a day all year - but then she is a chunky coblet and with a snuggly rug on is quite happy

She comes in for hay during the winter and to generally check her over - but a couple hours thats all

Mine are out during the day and stabled at night for the majority of the year if there is the odd particularly warm night I will leave them out for a night on the tiles

Mine is out at night and in during the day at the moment. Either to limit grazing (when they are in the grassy field) or to feed hay (now she's relegated to the fatty paddock

).

In the winter she's out in the day and in at night. She seems happy with this arrangement and is always at the gate when it's time to come in.

During the summer all 3 are out 24/7 with access to a barn.

In the next couple of months the TB will be brought in a night as he is a wuss who feels the cold and drops weight. Once he comes back home at Christmas time he will also be stabled about 3 days a week.

The section A will hopefully stay out apart from when she is competing/Hunting (this depends on how she copes though as it will be her first year out, in a cold place, hunting fit with a large clip - if need be she will be brought in at night every night!).

The yearling will be out 24/7 until I move her back home at Christmas time, then she will be in every night and about 3 days a week as we will be short on grazing.

Mine are out over night and in the stable during the day in the summer. In the winter they switch and will be out during the day and in during the night - but I do always leave it as long as possible before I bring them in at night time - otherwise I have to muck out in the morning before work!!

Most of mine live out 24/7. However, I do bring them in during the day and out at night if their waistlines require it!!!

The ponies live out all year, except in very bad weather, or if it's so wet that they need to come in.

The bigger ones come in at night, out during the day, in the winter months, as they need to hold their weight

Most of the year its in at night, but he had about 4/5 weeks of living out this year when it wasn't too hot /fly-ridden. In winter he goes out at about 8 AM and comes in at 3.30-4pm so I can ride before it gets too late

Hoping to make it out this Winter but field shelters and plenty natural shelter, rugs to accomodate. They have been out 24/7 since May and I have been hardening them off according to horse and needs. Used to be out in the Late Spring to early Autumn and then in at night out in the morning during the harsher months. I found mine were saying 'but we don't really want to be in tonight' during last Winter hence my change.

In at night all year round. Turnout from 7am-7pm in summer, 7am-5pm winter.

I would love my horse to live out and until a fortnight ago I never thought I'd move to a yard where she had to be stabled at night all year round; but my other yard got so bad I had to compromise

Last year she was out 24/7.

This year we've moved yards and it is:
summer- in at 8.30 am out about 3.30, but can be later if i am riding.

winter- out at 8.30 am, in at about 4pm, but if she is in the chips, she may stay out until 5 when i get there, she is happy being in with a big pile of hay and her friends

mine used to come in at nights in the winter but for last two years they have all lived out 24/7 365 days a year even in harshest weather and they have done much better and are much happier!!

Mine goes out in the day during winter and in at night. During summer she comes in day and out at night. She could go out 24/7 during summer months but she gets too fat and she gets a bit of sunburn. Plus she is happy to come in for a snooze!
