Anyone else watching? Chauffered Bear XC schooling this AM so in the mood :D

Got a cuppa tea and a big loaf cake to get through whilst I watch!
 
Yep and just contemplating what the hell Leslie Law is wearing on his head - defo a peak on that hat.

Agreed, it didn't seem like he deserved it as it looked like he'd really helped her out rather than having caused the issue being backwards and needing a tap up.

Yep and he was obviously knackered, hence the stacking at the fence a few more on. I guess she was aiming to wake him up and sharpen him a bit but didn’t look like he had anything left to give.
 
Oh I missed that :( I went to get a drink at the wrong moment it would seem!

Eta - there seem to be quite a few that are backwards around this course rather than riding forwards and attacking.

Not banned under FEI, only BE, for some reason.

I think it’ll cause problems all over from what I’ve seen so far. What I’ve always wondered if why (for the most part) the USA combos never seem as fit as the Europeans?
 
Glad Elisa Wallace retired. Don't like watching her ride especially after her dreadful Badminton showing a few years ago.

And yes @teapot, so many just dont' seem to be as prepared as they should be for 5*

what happened at badminton? I always thought she was well respected. Her videos come up on my FYP a lot.

Her horse was absolutely exhausted at the end. Left a leg at last fence and they both fell. She got up and didn’t even really turn around to look at the horse.

Was given a yellow card for abuse quite rightly, it was disgusting.
 
It would be interesting to see the scoreboard but unfortunately those time penalties might be expensive for Pippa.
