🤣 that's twiggy, she's the bottom of the pecking order and gets a bit fed up with Salty herding her around ðŸ˜Glad Kira's feeling well.
I love the pissed off expression on the horse with salty😀
Love the saddle, I have just ordered a new dressage saddle which will be "cocoa" coloured with maroon welting. That's out there for me! Though the purple does have a pleasing look to it...![]()
@AlexHyde
Good Luck! Eland is always an up to height (and width) course! That's why I haven't braved it yet! Maybe next year.
Have fun
@AlexHyde now that is a coooool saddle!...
Haha it's definitely not for everyonebut I love it and did tone down on adding glitter lol!
What dressage saddle have you gone for, new saddles are always exciting.
Eland Lodge hunter trial nation champs on Sat
The course looks fairly terrifying for a 70cm

Though I do at least have my secret weapon of my new saddletraditionalists look away now!
She's getting a Loxley by Bliss dressage saddleSo coming from your side of the globe! It's due in about 3 weeks, so impatient
It's her first "grown up" saddle and should last her a good long time due to its adjustability. Skylla is looking awesome XC, have fun this weekend!
we shall see you there. Thanks for the link to the course, I will show that to my daughter, shes doing the 70 as well. We went the other weekend, and I ( yes me !!) actually jumped some of those fences, so you will be grand, and I didn't fall off ! Although Pip did jump the first fence massive, but settled after that. The steps down are quite decent, I remember my daughter shouting sit back on that mum its quite steep, by which point I was part way down, and laughed on landing as she was absolutely right... Good luck !
Blue's just been officially pronounced sound by the vet! After convincing myself that it was some hideous issue that was going to result in retirement and/or enormous bills, it turned out it was just too much roadwork on bare feet. Walloped some shoes on, and now she's bouncing gleefully around the place like a tank on springs.
Unfortunately, bringing her back into work will have to wait until I've had her saddle checked out, but the plan is to introduce her to long reining at the weekend, and see how much we can do on the ground.
This was my view yesterday while I sat in my car in pouring rain wondering if I should just sell up and give up horses 😫😫😫
Kelsall has been abandoned tomorrow 😞 Gutted for them, and for everyone who was trekking over for the championship.
