Lost Rocky last night

I do like the idea of a tree.

We have a rowan that we call the old girl's. We had to have her pts in May. When it was in a pot outside her stable door she would grab a crafty nibble of it as she went past if she got the chance. Now it is bigger we have planted it in the garden, where in a few years it should provide some shade for the horses in the field.

I sadly missed the original post but just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss - he was a truly stunning boy and I always loved reading about him and seeing his photos. I will echo others and say what a credit he was to you, he always looked so happy and so handsome and not even half his age! He clearly had a fantastic life with you. What a lovely idea for a memorial too. Rest in peace Rocky xxx
 
Planting a tree is such a wonderful thing to do. We planted a willow where Maddie is buried.
I hope the pain of losing him is getting easier for you.
