Does it matter?
Not at all. Anyway, I'm off to tackle my horse up and take her out of her stabel for a ryde. :wink3:
Does it matter?
That's interesting - it never occurred to me that people might split the spelling and pronunciation like that and not say it the way it is spelt (more or less).I think the majority of people know its spelt manege, but the way we pronounce it is menage.
So, ménage à trois could refer to the situation where, for example, one person washes the dishes, another person rinses and a third dries?Ménage is housework ;-)
Well, I'm exaggerating. I just think its like the Americans taking our word "Mum" and spelling it and pronouncing it "Mom". Is America wrong? Does it matter?
