I know but we don't know for sure, it may not be the big practice that we are all thinking of... It could be the smaller practice set up by the chap who started the big practice in the first place then sold it to the other vets. in which case it could be possible as one vet of these does the vettings at burghley (dunno if he is there all day)
I knwo some people rekon the media should have not been involved on this...but I have just read that neighbours called the RSPCA a few times to report the problem and nothing was done.
If anything I would like to see the press interview the RSPCA and ask them why they ignored the reports on these horses,,and while they are at it are there any more reports of horses being neglected that they are ignoring?

Do you guys want me to make a Just Giving page to the BHS?

Why not just donate directly to the BHS???

If a just giving page was set up I assume the BHS would know who it was set up by. Therefore they would know that it was HHO's way of saying thanks for brilliant service. Whereas if you donated directly, it would obviously be good, but they wouldn't know how much what they're doing is appreciated. This was just a thought I had, so am willing to stand corrected if it doesn't work like that.

Cant donate at this moment, because my card doesnt have enough money in it. But I have money with me, so will ask Mum if I can user her card and pay her back.
I think it takes a while for money to get to the charities via JustGiving and beside, if the charity already has a function on their website to donate money then why not use that and cut out the middle man. I think it will also be fairly obvious to the charity that a sudden influx of donations are related to this case...

If you look at the online donation form on the BHS website there is a comments space so the BHS would know exactly why people are donating money.
I have nothing against JustGiving - I just don't understand why people would rather go through a 3rd party when they can donate directly to the charity.
