Tell them you don't know any more than the rest of us and would advise they wait for official updates from the BHS, or ignore/block her?

what a relief, a lovely warm cosy stable, with plenty of hay and water and a nice feed too, christmas has come to those 2 ponies.

Will slinky be able to give us regular updates now they are there, or is this the last we hear about them?

Can i just say that I have blubbed and blubbed at the end of this thread.
I have also donated to the JustGiving page (my rationale being that I have an account with them and think that the BHS can use it as a PR thing......£x amount donated by caring people after horse rescue)

I do stand by what I said earlier that I hope that the 2 equine charities that attended earlier in the month speak up and tell us exactly what reccomendations were put in place after their visit.

Ooohhh mmmyyy goooodddd!!! It has taken me TWWOOO hours to get through this entire saga!!! I read the original post last night and then logged back on this evening to find all of this!! Insane and absolutely bloody amazing!!!!

I do hope Spud and Carrot are happy in their 'safe house' and both make a full recovery!!!

I actually can not believe how amazing this story is! It's just incredible what can be done when people pull together! I think lots of bottles of champagne should/will be opened in lots of homes across the country this evening!

Great outcome! All we need now is news that the horses are improving (although TBH I suspect the chestnut - at least - might be past saving) AND that the useless RSPCA will get off its collective bottom for long enough to prosecute the owners!

And the hero in this is Andy - who with no knowledge of horses or any 'contacts' recognised there WAS real suffering (beyond a vet and certain welfare organisations!) and decide to do SOMETHING - and to KEEP doing it until the situation was sorted!!

"All that it takes for evil to prosper is for good people to do nothing."

Well done Andy - you're a good man who did something - and did it well.

And well done to the BHS - I might HAVE to rejoin!

My good god!!!

Have just logged on and found all this and seen the photo's.

Can't believe that we consider ourselves to be a developed country when a horse ends up looking like THAT!!!

Absolutely shocking!!!!!!

Thank goodness for you guys and the BHS!

I haven't read all the posts but I take it the horses have been taken into care?

I hope that they'll be ok and make a recovery.
