So agreed to dog sit for my parents for the evening. They live in a lovely cottage in the middle of a quiet village and their house has a cellar by the kitchen which they use to store booze. Now for the creepy bit, one of their dogs periodically (every hour or so) gets distressed and insists that you have to go and open the cellar as he's certain there's something (or someone!) in it. When I then show him that there's no one there and go down the steps he goes even more neurotic like he's convinced something (or someone 😳
is going to get me. He will only put his front paws on the first step and definitely no further. This is apparently a regular thing that he does. Being here alone overnight it really started to creep me out (and I don't scare easily!)
Anyone else have neurotic ghost hunting dogs?
