The jumping doesn't seem to be going so well at the moment. Cricket scores and spooky horses :S

Knowing both our heights, it would have been a laugh for us to walk around the course. We would struggle to touch the top pole by the looks of it on some of those fences!

I have a photo of me standing in one of the fences at Burghley - some rails and stretching my arms out I can't touch the span of it!!

Yes, he has had the misfortune at times to fall into Arko's shadow. And gosh, I love Arko - his first clear round at the last Olympics moved me to tears,

but I think Russell has a preferable attitude for this and the conditions

The Hales obviously think so too

I said this yesterday that Russel is a bloody good horse and I hope that if he jumps as well as he did yesterday thatpeople may actually consider him to be in the same league as Arko. It is a shame he is always going to be in his shadow because although he doesn't really win massive classes he has so much scope!

LOL! Despite having had the idea in my head for months, I hadn't actually thought of that

I just thought it was the perfect/special name for a guaranteed grey super star!!
