Not related to the Pammy vs Dressage Hub.. but thinking of Talland. I had a lesson at Talland a couple of years ago, was so excited! Booked for a medium school master session but you have to have a assessment before which is totally understandable.. The horse they put me on for the assessment was extremely backwards and clearly unhappy to go forward at all. I was told its all my fault and shouted at (at one point shouted at for being unable to hear with 3 lessons going on at once) I am not 'soft' and love a instructor who is firm, but this was different. I came out the session and sat in the car, had a tear.

It wasn't cheap I emailed them after and was given a voucher for another session with a different instructor and horse (they claimed the horse I was on was tired) but I never used it.

I'm not a beginner or professional by any means, been riding and owned my own since a teenager which is almost 20 years ago. I did some low level eventing and some dressage on my last horse I backed myself, but never had a instructor give such personal aggressive comments. I came away feeling so down and never wanting to get on a horse again. Maybe my experience was a one off.

A trainer I did BHS care with (she had to sign off on stuff before I could do the assessments) told me about her experience with PH. Her first words to her were 'I'll make you cry' and she was given a very hard time in the lesson.

She didn't cry but it was a very weird thing to say! And yes, PH was needlessly aggressive with her. Just why? No need.

I am ashamed to have been in Heathers close circle for a brief time. She is an author and French Classical training advocate.

Unfortunately she also doesn’t have many nice things to say about pretty much anybody. These days she seemed less of a rider botherer by being a conspiracy theorist but DH seems to of reignited her argumentative equine side.

We all live and learn, but you shouldn't be ashamed of others behaviours.

I'm not sure many in the equine community have nice things to say about others. It seems to be a constant of differing opinions and borderline bullying. Such a shame.

I am a member of the FEI time to Act group ages ago, and HM invited me to join her own private group, I looked at the page....and politely declined to join. It was just her personal opinion on every weird and wonderful conspiracy theory going, unbelievable!!!

Thanks for that 😂 I had to go take a look.

Replacing the elderly with younger foreign blood.
Weather manipulation.
And, I can't quite make out what the issue is with plane trails in the sky being there/not there.

The mind boggles.
