I tonight decided enough was enough so left my mare and foal and lil ponio in for the night..they actually seemed relieved foalie dropped in the straw with a look of heaven on his face...so now its chucking buckets and I feel happy that they are in..

We had it bad yesterday but needed the rain .Its really dry in our area and 3 days of rain is what we really need.

Heavy showers on and off here all day too, Charlie has his Rain sheet back on for the first time in months, I don't want him feeling anymore under the weather (no pun intended!) then he already is so I am being a soft Mummy

This rain malarky seems sooo localised...I had to drive home from work through bloody floodwaters...then it went alright... then it chucket buckets...but I have a bit of a unwritten rule if we have sh@te weather for 3 day's ish I like to bring in the horses for a decent rest especially now I have the foalie..+ his mommas getting on a bit

Well here in the Netherlands it is chucking it down and has been for two days now add to that thunder and lightening and its really really nice!

Blimin horrible here, it's just like being back in the deep depths of winter, I'm all fed up again, just dug my wellies, coat, lightweight rugs and mucking out stuff out again, I was in shorts and vest top last week and horses were out sunbathing 24/7 .... I need a holiday!

Went up to the yard last night armed with rain sheet to find neddie perfectly happy and toasty in the middle of the field so left him without it!

We've been getting lots of heavy, thundery showers but has been dry so far today (fingers Xd!)
