Lurcher lover
Only just logged on and rushed through to see if she was ok. Thank goodness she is home and a bit better. Fingers crossed that she is fine by the morning
It does seem quite possible knowing her tendency to hoover up almost anything she manages to find out on walks and sometimes when you yell out leave, if she is far enough away, she gives one big gulp and down whatever the ghastly treasure goes ?. She then slithers over to you wagging her tail and literally grinning at you! Yes she truly grins and you can almost see her thinking ,oops my bad!?I hope she is back to normal tomorrow. Do you think she might have something stuck?
Quick positive update and thanks again for good vibes. Much better today, she can now eat a small meal and drink without retching and is dry retching far less than yesterday. Was full of bounce first thing but a little quieter now but I am guessing some of the meds are probably adding to that. Spoke to the vet and he is happy for her to stay home still and monitor her and check back with him in the morning.
She had a very short amble walk with Mr. C first thing and unusually did not try to forage for any nasties in the field and hedgerows. I like to think she has learned a lesson, but we all know that will never happen with a greedy Labrador don't we? ? I will relax and know she is well and truly mended when we have to start watching her like a hawk and screaming at her again to leave unknown disgusting objects of great desire to all self respecting Labs!
That’s a relief! Looking forward to hearing she is back in full Lab mode with you in corresponding Hawkeye mode very soon ?Quick positive update and thanks again for good vibes.
