Had a hectic day yesterday but I was thinking of you ycbm. He's free of pain now and I hope you can find some solace in that. Sending a big (socially awkward, 'coz I don't do hugging) hug.

I'm fine thankyou everyone. It felt very peculiar putting Muffin's tack on Deza (Dayza) but she was so amazing to ride I burst into tears walking around the arena.

I can draw a line under Muffin now, know that he can never be in pain again, and move on.

For a horse I owned only 18 months he's left a very big hole.

Only just caught up on this thread. So sorry to hear about Muffin, I really liked him...always had a soft spot for a big TB.
He was so lucky to have an owner who did the right thing by him and such a shame it had to end so soon.

Good luck with Deza and start having some fun again.

so sorry about Muffin but thank goodness he ended up with you.It doesn’t bear thinking about what he could have suffered in different hands.
Have lots of fun with your lovely new girl - she looks gorgeous! X

I'm really sorry for your loss, even though it was a kindness :) I'm sure that the lovely Deza will lift your spirits over the coming months x
