So yesterday we scrapped the Chappie and went back to normal dry food, scrapped 2 small meals a day and gone back to the 1 larger meal.
No sickness yesterday, no sickness overnight, no accidents in the house yesterday or overnight.

Daisy completely normal and Jezza probably 90% normal (he is a bit spacey from his pain meds), Jezza less than impressed at being back on dry food vs wet food but he is eating it (he eats approx half of it then ignores the other half until Daisy trys to take it and then he suddenly wants it again)

Jezza is seemingly normal except he went the loo in the house early this morning less than an hour after being let out.
Daisy is bright and happy but has been sick a few times today.

It is dragging on a bit, isn't it? Have you given them any probiotic or anything? Yoghurt even. (Goats probably better than cow).
They have had some natural yoghurt to try and settle them.
Jezza seems back to normal now, and I'm not sure daisys sickness yesterday was connected. we were out in the garden most of the day and she loves eating grass so we suspect she ate some and made herself sick. Normally she is kept off the grass entirely. She is currently asleep on the sofa. having had no sickness since 7pm ish.

I'm hoping that we are out of the woods now. Jezza goes back to vet next week for his leg but hopefully no more vet bills coming my way.

Hope they both get properly better very soon! I imagine cleaning up dog sick isn’t great for how your feeling ?

So Daisy is completely normal again but Jezza just wasn't right.
Nothing I could put my finger on for sure but he gave me the impression he is in pain in his tummy. he was just a bit restless and wouldn't settle anywhere. He was still up for chasing the postman (or anyone in an orange hivis for that matter) and he was eating well (and begging for any food that anyone has), but he was peeing a lot.

Took him to vet yesterday as a fast growing lump on his nose needed looking at (vet had seen it previously but thought it unimportant with everything else that was going on) and his hind legs needed reassessing. I mentioned it to her and she had a good exam of him, managed to coax a wee sample out of him, took some bloods etc. Normal Bloods came back perfectly fine, lump is nothing to worry about just keep an eye on it. We are still waiting for the results of the pancreatitis blood test taken last Visit so she is going to chase that up.
She upped his pain meds (the new gentle on the stomach ones) and suggested we treat it as though it is pancreatitis uptill we are told otherwise as at this stage there are very limited things it could be.
So Jezza had his chicken and rice yesterday for dinner, his pain killer and a stomach settler. he settled last night and this morning is making a nuisance of himself everytime anyone so much as looks at food. He settled last night other than one session at about 3 am where he was pacing the bedroom but clinging to the edge of our bed. he did settle after about 10 mins and slept the rest of the night.

Oh bless him. Thats not the news we wanted to hear really. Just random musing with you mentioning rice one of mine is a bit intolerant to rice, it gives her the runs so I generally feed just poached chicken or fish if she's ill. I've a little beagley type dog and she's such a love I'd be so worried if she were off her food or anything - its their entire reason for being

Glad to hear that all is well with Daisy again @conniegirl , but sorry that something is still not right with Jezza.
I've always heard rice is good for upset stomachs, and it has worked for my bitches when I've used it in the past, but as Roxylola mentions not everyone tolerates it. On the other hand I've known a meat allergic Dalmatian, and Jezza has to eat something. So how to know for certain what to try...

It's so difficult when the veterinarian can't find/give any clear answers. Hope the test results you're waiting on can offer some insight into what the root cause of the problem is.
