Me too.I'm speechless!
Agreed. Tbh, Milly seems like a lovely person (so far as I can tell from Socials) but I was surprised by the description of the horse's ability. They are a very nice partnership but the results aren't there to justify the valuation. I do wonder how this has all come about. They have attributed an absolutely insane valuation to the horse.
Fools and their money...I’m shocked that there are that many stupid people who have actually donated
I think I read that the £80k was a 55% ownership stake!!!Should have kept him as a 15k horse instead of supposedly turning him into an 100k one![]()

I don't know that I particularly judge her for that. She has a big following and a number of people were encouraging her to set it up. She is obviously very emotionally attached to the horse and felt like that was her only option to retain him.Gosh sometimes I feel like a right wally pushing myself through yucky personal circumstances to get a job and earn my own money so I can do things like horses, off my own back and out my own pocket. Be much easier set up a crowd fund seeing as this how folks seem to do it these days!!
(This is sarcasm.)
Do you want our stupid pretty ex racer, I'll take £1k for the brain dead titBecause she got 100k from investors originally and now has to pay the main investor back. Its madness. She should have run him through an auction and made sure she was the highest bid.
Now if anyone has the details of this person who invests 80k in horses for your average person can you give me a shout. I'll buy an ex racer for 1k and spend the rest on fun things like tack and matchy matchy!
Ah, I see! At which point you'd wonder how the £100k figure was decided!Because she got 100k from investors originally and now has to pay the main investor back. Its madness. She should have run him through an auction and made sure she was the highest bid.

True. Although Art's owner took a substantial drop on the horse's market value in that instance. And the horse was regarded to have huge potential by a lot of people who really knew their stuff.Bonkers. But it worked for Jonty and Art was valued at 5 x that so good luck to her I say.
Does no one have any ambition and desire to push themselves to make the things they want to happen, happen? Where is the satisfaction and pride in achieving something in doing it like this?

I daren't even start! So much I want to say on that debarcle.
But I’ll refrain.
Quick Google, his competition name is Jaguar VOD and is winning at Prix St. George - Intermediate 1.
