I won't quote it word for word but it basically says "I'm working on giving a full update on the situation soon. Thank you everyone for donating & sharing the GFM, the response has been beyond my wildest dreams. I hope it will mean he is coming home soon"

Ah ok, I just found something similar on Fbk from yesterday. In that one, she particularly thanks Mary Wanless. I'm sure someone earlier on the thread said that Mary was no longer supporting her, looks like they were mistaken....

I’ve followed her for 2 years and she does stories most days. Some days it will be just a single story, other days it will be lots of horses in the paddocks, horses getting physio, lessons, etc. I have not met MD, LZ, or TB in person but I did do quite a bit of due diligence when I was looking into investing last year and spoke to another investor/others in her circle.

I’m dubious of the TB allegations as I was told LZ had loans coming due last summer, there were financial issues, and at that time her owners and investors were quite pleased. Additionally, her stable is close to her parents and I find it hard to believe they would allow the horses to be left in the conditions that TB alleged has gone on for months. If you watch her instagram stories, her dad teaches her and her mom helps her at shows, grooming, etc. Not to mention her horse box sponsor who is there at least once weekly for transport, her social media person, physio, the jumpers that loan the indoor, her clients she teaches on site, spillers horse feeds who sponsored her and used one of the alleged ‘starved & emaciated horses’ LZ took back in a shoot….

It’s a stretch to believe that MW would ‘give her blessing’ to have Olaf removed to another continent to be ridden and managed by someone she’s never met. When I spoke to her in person, she was quite passionate about the pair and really liked the horse with high hopes of them reaching GP.

Regarding LZ using 2 different last names consecutively for the business, I was informed she isn’t married.

Reading this, it occurs to me that none of us knows the details of the syndicate contract... for example, whether decisions about relocating or selling the horse can be made by simple majority vote, or need some other mechanism. Maybe the syndicate is in dispute and that's why welfare was weaponised.

I look at like a racehorse in training, they are performance animals with a limited competition life and it in the owners terms its not being managed or getting the results they would like they remove from the trainer. I can understand the trainer not wanting it to leave but depending on the contract they do not have the final say, it's just a business decision, and even if it is just about money in the end or wanting someone else to train and compete the horse contract is the thing that really defines what happens.
Once a dispute becomes public I think people want to defend their PTO. I have natives, for showing they all look in some peoples eyes underweight, so no one would ever want me to produce an animal to show, if you want a competition animal they are that condition.
