Rambo duo owners (or those with new horseware rugs)

I've got Rambo supremes for my mare but want to use the duo liners with them. I've had the rugs a few years so that was before horseware included the liner attachments on all of their rugs.

What kind of attachments do they have on the neck? I'm hoping my rug cleaners will be able to cobble something together for me but need to know what to ask for

I believe they have metal squares which you thread velcro through!

I have a duo. The liners fit by putting Velcro through a loop on the rug and then clips at the back into fillet string loops. The neck cover velcros into the rug.

Thanks , the necks are the same on my Supremes. Are the loops right on the seam around the neck or slightly inside/outside ?

As above. I use the liners with any rug to be honest, even stable ones. I find that they dont move with the chest velcro and the clips at the back of the rug.

i use the horseware liners with any rug - as long as you attach the back with the clips to the fillet strips clips they dont move so dont worry if you dont have neck attachments! and to be honest even the rambo rugs i have with neck attchments i dont bother with them!

Thanks everyone , I prob will get some attachments put in as I don't turn out in the morning (assisted DIY) and need to be able to leave the rug ready to chuck on in the morning... trying to keep it as simple as poss to avoid problems

I agree with others, the liners stay very well in place with other rugs as long as you clip them at the back onto the fillet string rings.

Ditto those who have said the liners stay place with just the clips at the back!

I have a Duo and a Tristar and I have never attatched the liners to the outer rugs in any way. As long as you have a fillet string that's not too loose the liners will not move.

Oh this is a helpful thread!!! I was going to purchase a rambo duo as a heavyweight this winter but now wondering whether to just put purchase the duo liners and put under his medium weight amigo??!!
