Yes, there's mini foals so you could sit them on your knee.

Been there done that, had to take a premie shetland foal to the vets every day for a week running and didn’t have a lorry… he travelled very nicely on the back seat of the car, either standing in the footwell or laying on someone’s lap.

Tbf he was smaller than the ridgeback dog who travelled in there normally.

Hadn't seen them, no.
Seem to be an awful lot of BD about at the mo.

Unfortunately a lot of them are second rate dross that’s mostly been bred for the meat trade until the breeders realised they’d get more money selling them over here.

There’s a huge issue with CPL in the breed, and a lot of PSSM. They’re also expensive as anything to feed and keep, and like most drafts, harder work than most people think. I love them and a good one is a delight but equally the good ones cost an arm and a leg and shouldn’t really be showing up at an auction; I’d be very dubious I’m afraid.

There are a couple of laminitic/very footy looking shetlands there. I know they are only static photos but more than one of the ponies is in the classic rocked-back stance. It might just be because they are being stood up on what looks like compacted hard core, but they are standing in quite an exaggerated way.

A few nice looking ponies though, although I'm surprised they aren't being sold privately for a good sum if they are as good as they look, especially the ones suitable for kids.

I might buy some cheese.🤪
I can't be tempted into getting another pony no matter what cute foals are there.
Thats a bonus buying cheese at a horse sale I must say I have never done that before.

I haven't been to a horse sale since I was about 19 years old when I worked for a dealer and spent most of the time crying.

So I try and avoid them.

I think I'll download the catalogue so I can see what I'm not buying.
