I'm enjoying these! (sorry 😅).

Will add my own; When I was a groom on quite a large yard we had an owner coming to visit their horse so I was in the stable giving her a quick brush off, she was always quite a twitchy mare and at the wrong moment threw her head back, catching my face and giving me a nose bleed as the owners are tottering through the yard so I'm desperately trying to stem the bleeding and watery eyes at the back of the stable - I managed for the quick hellos then scuttled to the tack room to hide.

Another one that was thrown off a pony I was trying for someone into a bed of nettles they managed to go up my coat, as I'm trying to stand up a well wishing by-stander pushed me back down and told me not to move and to catch my breath only they hadn't realised they had pushed me back into the nettles and pushed them back up my coat!! Safe to say they didn't sell that one.

When I first had my pony he was very bargy. He was too young to ride so I would walk him out to get him used to the local lanes, and all the things he would see out hacking. He got cross one day because he wanted to eat grass and I said no, so he took off, pushing me over with his shoulder as I made a futile attempt to stop him.
I went face first into a ditch full of nettles, he buggered off to the nearest patch of grass.
My face swelled up like a balloon.
That was merely the first injury he gave me. There was the broken little finger, the broken hand, the broken coccyx. There was being strapped to a back board (fortunately it wasn't a broken neck!), standing on my big toe, too many bruises to count. Despite all that I'd still have him back in an instant if I could (he died last year).
