Rip Amy winehouse

It is very sad, she was a talented but troubled soul :-( Hating all the horrible remarks on FB like Amy Crackhouse, and one less smackhead blah blah.

Said on the news they think her dad doesnt know yet as hes on a flight :-( Poor, Poor family :-( XX

Has it been on the news? Didn't know anything about it until now, shame brilliant talent but unfortunately only so many times you can abuse your body without it calling time. Feel desperately sorry for her family and friends, her dad apparently did everything he could to help her.

Don't want to cause a debate here and I'm prob going to get shot down now. Yes it is sad just think she had endless opportunities to turn her life around, expensive rehab etc but she decided not too, some people don't have that kind of help. Yes she had a lot of talent and it was a shame she didn't do more with it.

Sadder though is that her dying is going to get more media attention than the 90 odd people innocently killed in Norway, they didn't have a choice. And the 90 + families in shock over losing their children in a selfish act.

Sorry rant over.

I couldnt agree more.

I disagree. Norway is hideously sad, but unrelated to this.

Regardless of the facilities her money could have bought her, she was in the grips of a strong and painful addiction. Its just so horrifically sad. xxx

absolutely agree, she chose her path, those in norway didn't:(

Similar to the above but it's amazing just how few people I have seen show any form of concern for those innocent people murdered in Norway, yet all show some kind of feeling towards a - talented I will grant - drug addict who most probably overdosed.

With all due respect to Amy Winehouse, the comparison between the two's support has really angered me. RIP to all those concerned.

Agree ^^^^^

I wouldnt want her as my childs roll model, but i do like some of her songs.

We choose which path in life we lead, unfortunately she choose the wrong one.

(I have always remembered a program on tv where in America inmates train dogs and wild mustang break them in , many of the inmates go on to do it as a job thus not returning to crime some are employed by the people who adopt the horse they get the trainee too. .)

Well you wonder what this has to do with Amy or drugs. Well the inmate said when you sit on the back of one of these wild mustang for the first time well that is a high in itself you dont get that from a cigarette or hard drugs.
So I am one of the few who has never ever Tasted, puffed , injected, ANY SORT of " drugs " I am no boasting just I find life is hard enough sometimes when your brain is normal let alone when it is screwed up.

So please never taste puff or anything drugs it will screw you up. sorry lecture over :D

Agree. Hopefully Amy enjoyed her biggest "hit" ever. Such a wasted talent as many have said, but you choose your own path in life. I just don't understand how with all the money she had, she never took the opportunities to come off the drugs....

Yes, the Norwegian attrocity really should be getting more media attention. Most of the people I have spoken to haven't even heard anything about it!

I'm sorry but I agree, Norway holds a bit part of my heart and I was devastated to learn of the killings there.
Amy had so much support and so many opportunities to sort her life out, and whilst it is a very sad waste of such a talented singer, I'm sure most of us are not that surprised to be honest.

If she went out and got hit by a bus etc, then yes feel sad, she is a women that had the knowledge of what she was doing to herself. Some people can never be helped, no matter what they have. We live our lives knowing the risks we take, it is how you choose which risks to take.

Amy Winehouse lived her life how she wanted too, so no I'm not sorry for her but for her family as they are the ones that have to pick up their lives and wonder where they went wrong, when really they didn't.

Oh for goodness sake - her death is tragic - I can't believe how many holier-than-thou people are using it to have a go at her!
RIP Amy

Hell no a child dying in a car accident, been there done that, a person dying of cancer is tragic, a person dying at the hands of someone else is tragic, a stupid bint that can't say no is not tragic. It is stupid and very selfish.
