RIP my beautiful boy... how quickly things can change

I'm so very, very sorry to read this. Colic is such a terrible thing and it can hit so hard and so fast.

He was such a super chap. I can remember admiring him in his green saddlecloth when you posted that photo recently.

Take heart in the fact that you were with him when the colic hit. All that was possible was done to save him, but sadly things don't always turn out as we would hope.

I'm so very sorry for your loss.

RIP Rodney.

Massive cyber hugs, what a dreadful shock. Things can change so quickly and not always for the better. Take care. RIP big beautiful boy! x

Condolences, ShadowFlame. I lost my boy to a similar colic recently so have an idea how you are feeling. It just comes out of the blue and you feel so powerless to help them.

Having lost my boy 2 weeks ago, i know exactly how you feel. Before he went down he was trotting round the field chasing a car and roller (!!) and from going down to passing was less than 3 hours.

So sudden and so quick, life is unfair to us and our horses. r.i.p to your gorgeous boy xxx

So sorry to hear of your bad news. He was a gorgeous lad. Well done you for acting so quickly to get him the help he needed. Think of the good times - i'm sure there were many xx

RIP Rodney xx

Gosh

I don't know what to say, OP other than I am so, so sorry this happened.

You must be in such terrible shock.
