RSPCA Raid Jamie Grey's Spindles Farm Again

Paddywhack; here is a quote from MJ;

On the thread that got deleted you told me your father was dead, yet yesturday you told Tia that your father has been diagnosed with lung cancer......so you have lied about your father too

[/ QUOTE ]
The reason I never replied to your comments on the deleted thread about your father being diagnosed with lung cancer was because I did remember that you had previously said online that your father was dead. That's a fairly big lie PW, regardless of whether you tell it in real life or on this Internet forum

All arguments aside - If Paddywhacks father has been diagnosed with lung cancer then I am truely sorry for the whole family but to be totally honest I don't trust a thing he says. Such a lie, being it that his father is dead or that his father has lung cancer, is dispicable. I couldn't even lie about my dog being dead or dianosed with cancer, let alone my father.

(I do believe PW father actually passed away about 10/12 yrs ago)

Yes i have and i owed up to it straight away if you remember,it was not very clever of me i admit that, but the only thing that is important is that I know when i am telling the truth, and i would not lie in this thread since i dont want Admin to remove it
grin.gif
I might have lied about when it comes to me but NEVER when it comes to the Amersham Horses,,,,,i feel too strongly about them to lie
I doubt that many people stick stricktly to the truth writing on a forum,i cant lie to someones face but typing for strangers to read and maybe wind 1 or 2 people up ?? Naaaah does not bother me.....I am tough skinned and if some people dont beleive me i dont really give a toss,i know whats true....

You didn't own up straight away - you got caught out so you was then left with no choice but to own up.

You remind me of a cousin of mine - she believes her own lies too. And goodness me, they que up in her mouth and just roll off her tongue. Telling porkies comes naturally to her.

Funny enough....her tales are tall and colourful too. But like yours....not many people believe them.

In my opinion this thread is just getting ridiculous. I do believe in the court system when people know about cases (and before anyone gets on my back dead horses are neglect cases) so whether or not the horses were neglected or not can be decided by the courts. Please can we just play nice and trust the court system and stop getting personal.

Could I suggest that if people wish to post about their own personal issues, or carry on a "debate" about posters identity etc, that they do this in Soapbox, rather than on a serious thread in latest news, as certainly in my opinion this thread was posted with a serious intent , which has again been subverted by mj, t and pw.

Thank you YorksG

I did post this for people to see about Jamie Grey....

It is a serious issue..and the idiots who keep turning this thread into a joke seem to be doing it on purpose.....maybe to stop anyone reading about JG.

I am now going to make a complaint about these Forum users.

You know as well as anyone that JG is not a 'Meat dealer'. Try taking a bit of your own advice.

[/ QUOTE ]

ok. I don't want to get into any big fight here and maybe I am being naive so please do explain, but if he is not a 'meat dealer' why did he have so many horses there, why were there horses that were blind, donkeys and donkeys that were in foal? of course everyone in the country was shocked to see the pictures and the news when this all broke out but something did happen at that farm, he owns it and if he was buying horses to sell as 'riding horses' which you mentioned when all of this first hit the forum, then it all just doesn't make sense. Surely if you were in a business to sell horses for any discipline you would make sure they were fit and healthy. Plus photos don't lie and the pictures of some of the horses SHOW they were emaciated.

I think the confusion over the 'meat dealer' thing is the way we horse lovers see the type of horse dealers that JG belongs to. They go to all the local sales buy up all the low end ponies/horses, put other low end ones in the ring and some will sell to new homes, some to other dealers of the same type, some to the meat man and some won't sell if they think they are not getting enough back from the sale price. In the case of our own imported horse, he was on a wagon for his first 10 days in the country, shipped by dealer to sale, sold to other dealer and on to next sale and on and on, different dealers different sales. He was worth too much for meat man to get him but had to wait until someone bought him who wasnt a dealer to actually spend a night in a stable, if they are lucky they might spend a night yarded. The meat man will get some of them if the prices are right, that is a fact but I don't believe for a second that JG was a meat dealer - he is just the typical scum dealer that is seen at every pay on the day sale (no warranties offered here!!) in the country. He doesnt care who buys them, meatman, private or another dealer as long as he gets his money back and a few quid on top.

Here here. Although if you go by what has happened with regards some recent animal cruelty cases, and a recent criminal case I was involved in, I suspect, if he does not get off on a technicality, he will not get the punishment we horse lovers would wish on him...

Sorry - does that make sense?

I would like to officially appologise for the posts that were posted last night,i was out of line and it will not happen again ! I just got dragged into the debates ,and was again defending myself on a personal level which is very painful for obvious reasons... but they are now on my ignore list and if i cant see what they are writing i cant respond...
I feel as you all know very strongly about the Amersham Horses and feel sick in my stomach just thinking about what they and other horses/ponies/donkies did/are going through !

I will let it rest on this thread because if not it's likely to get pulled.....But if PW would like to take it elsewhere then I really do not mind......he has proven what he is......

Guess what folks??? I reckon Paddywhack's IN LOVE with me.

perhaps we could support paddywack in this by not quoting any comments made directly about her by certain posters so she doesnt feel she needs to defend herself again. Perhaps also the out and out bullying can stop and the subject can be commented on without fear of nasty/aggressive/personal replies being posted. Glad you reposted this ES and well said YorksG!

Sadly unless these people have contravened the forum T&Cs complaining will do no good, and I am afraid that not saying what you want them to is not really grounds for Admin to take action.

hch4971....thank you....glad to see this post is now being treating as a serious issue....

Apart from the users who are still insisting on trying to wind up an argument which it totally irrelivant to Spindles Farm.

Oh for goodness sake. ES, the last thread to which you included the same link, was read a few thousand times - I think most of the forum will have read your link by now. It was a dreadfully written piece of journalism which didn't clarify anything apart from that the RSPCA had visited the farm again. Mostly it reiterates what happened back in January.

No-one can dictate the way in which their thread will evolve. Anyone who has a problem with threads not going the way they want (ie. having everyone agreeing with their stance) either has to try to divert the route of their thread by intervening, not post the thread in the first place if they are not capable of doing this, or just stick to replying to people who do agree with you and ignore those who don't.

I won't apologise because there is nothing for anyone to apologise for. I said what my thoughts were about the link you posted (relevant) and I replied to Paddywhack (relevant). I did, however, have a smile about your threat to report us

.

I suggest everyone who doesn't like me, or the others, simply put us on Ignore User....sheesh the solution REALLY isn't that difficult is it?

Well quite. Furthermore I think that if anyone is particularly desperate to read about JG they should be more then capable of a quick google search. Personally if I wanted to read anything informative about this, or any other case then the Daily Mail is possibly the last place on earth I would look anyway...

How old are you?
Seriously, simply because one does not agree with what you are saying does not mean they should be banned from the forum.

For him to be prosecuted and punished, he would need to be charged. He has not been charged with one thing to do with cruelty / neglect - so it isn't so much a case of innocent until proven guilty - it's just innocent, no charges laid atm.

I have to say that it's quite discusting how ALL of the Amersham horse related posts are being abused.

Has everone forgotton the reason why we have united as horse lovers?
Yes everyone has opionions but for god sake, it would be nice if bitching didn't come into it.

It's absolutley shocking that people are scoring points against each other in relation to such a sensitive subject.

Please Please stop to think before you create a thread that's going to fuel someone, or bite back at someone.

It would seem that there were no horses removed during the last Amersham visit.

RSPCA in Amersham farm search
By Lucinda Adam

RSPCA officers have visited an Amersham farm following a tip-off about possible horse cruelty from a member of the public.

Sophie Wilkinson, spokesman for the RSPCA, said: "We did go to a farm near Amersham last Friday following a complaint involving 18 horses. Our investigation is ongoing."

She added that no horses had been removed from the property.

Last month the RSPCA rescued 111 horses from Spindles Farm in Hyde Heath. Officers also discovered 32 dead horses.

The farm's owner, Jamie Gray, is due to appear in court on May 9 charged with assaulting a police officer and criminal damage.

The offences are alleged to have been committed when the RSPCA and police searched his farm on January 4.

10:36am today

This newspaper article is a condensed version of what was known to some last week, so why has it taken so long for this information to be released into the public domain?

Is anyone else curious as to why it takes the RSPCA a whole week before they release statements about what actually happened?

Why did the Daily Mail not report what really happened on Friday? Some people knew that their reporting was to mention another RSPCA visit but most of the piece was just a reiteration of what had happened back in January; however other people clearly believed that the exact same situation had happened all over again.

I'm a forum member who doesn't post very often but do read what's going on. Myjack seems to always be posting cryptic messages about not being able to say what's really going on...... I would just like Myjack to answer the following-
are you saying that Jamie Gray is not guilty of anything? that he looked after his horses? that he kept them fed and watered? If as you say there is another side to the story, then I'm afraid the way you put your argument across is not helping.

but what exactly is JG being charged with???

[/ QUOTE ]
Assault on a person and damage to a vehicle. And that's all I believe.

Precisely.

if there was any concrete evidence that this guy HAD done what he is accused of then he would be charged with that too. I don't believe the CPS like wasting time with two or three separate court cases...

I'm not saying the guy is innocent, but when you look at this from an outside perspective then it doesnt seem that the RSPCA have any case whatsoever. The RSPCA are usually so good at bringing those guilty of neglect and cruelty up in court... so why not this time??

Innocent until proven guilty.

Innocent when there are no charges against him for what he is being accused of?

when all we have is media hysteria to show us what apparently came out of spindles farm.
