Hi All.
I am completely confused now. I don't come in here often, but do try to keep up on what's going on in the "animal abuse system" for want of a better phrase.
I think ALL of us would like the wheels of justice to turn a whole lot quicker than they do. And while they grind on, all true horse lovers want that justice to be immediate...on the other hand we do have checks and balances and laws that must be followed.
I suggest most humbly and without any rancor what-so-ever that if you do not like the laws as they stand, vote to change them. Every moment you spend bickering on this forum could be used to write your MPs, volunteer at a local horse sanctuary...do something!
The bickering that occurs here is just out of sheer frustration and that's what legislators and politicians want us to do--feel helpless. The more helpless we feel, the more anger we feel, and if you all have friends and families that are up to here with your horse talk, what better way do you have than to rant on here?
Isn't that what horse forums are for? A way to get out all the stuff you can't talk about to "normal" people or their eyes glaze over? I haven't been on one yet where people weren't having a go at each other for some reason or another. Maybe your horse didn't go well for you today, or your teacher yelled at you or your sister used your best jods to whipe up her chocolate milk? What do you do then? Well, rather than breaking a fist on the wall, you come in horse forums and get passionate!
Think we all should give each other a little space to express the very same helpless feelings we have all had at one time or another.

You're wittering again.
I don't believe the only point of the OP was to discuss JG guilt or innocence.More just to inform others who might not have seen the article of a further development in the whole JG story.
You just have to jump in there and stir it all up though don't you myjack

Thank you Devonlass.........you are 100% correct......the OP was posted for for info.....for ppl who have not seen it.....as the internet is used everyday by different ppl.....that is why I posted it a second time.
 
so what you're saying is that you can post a post about JG's farm... but people aren't allowed to discuss it. YOU are allowed to put your point across by posting the article, but others aren't allowed to put their thoughts on the article across...

I think the point is that the post is to do with JG and the farm and NOT to do with personal and totally unrelated bickering bewteen a couple of people here.

If you just want to take a personal swipe at each other why not do it by PM or on a more suitable site? The way things are going at the moment those of us who are genuinely interested in this issue will just stop looking at JG posts altogether....we know what we are going to find most of the time....petty unrelated bickering. Discuss the issue by all means but can we please stop the hijacking?

At the moment nothing is stopping him from going to the sales,it makes my blood boil,all this "Innocent until proven guilty" Yes that is true,he may or may not be innocent no one will know until if/when he is charged,all we can do as a members of the public is to keep our eyes open and be neglected/abused horses voices and if we see a field with poor looking horses in it,dont just drive past,contact RSPCA/Police and they WILL go and have a look,or take photos etc,this is where we should/can spend our energy on
"Bad horse dealers" got a very wide network and they help eachother out by keeping horses in eachothers field or they dump horses in someone elses field since they and everyone else knows that it takes the land owner 2 weeks to get an eviction,and then they move the horses on day 12-13...
In my local area "HE" is BAD news and not only in the Amersham Horses case,but "good" people around here knows not to deal/mess with him and that is a FACT !!
But there are 1000's of us on this forum and if we work together I am sure that we can make a change,there are too many neglected and abused horses out there
 
What is there not to beleive ?
*He IS under investigation but NOT charged
*Bad and good dealers ?
*Neglected horses ?
*Dumped horses in fields?
*Contact some kind of authority if we see a neglected/abbused/mistreated animal ?
*Working together to make a change ?
WE horse people and lovers are actually here on this forum with the same thing in common,yes i was not telling the truth a couple of times but ONLY when it came to posting YOU a stupid misstake i know,i did appologise and with the amount of PM's that i received in support back speaks for itself...
 
I find this thread rather like a drug I am trying to kick, I just can't resist having a peep to see how many further posts are on it!!! I see (4) and my hand reaches for my mouse......my head is saying "Dont do it" but my addiction takes over and ?

Well, I guess it might be just like having that cigarette you had vowed not to have, nice in rather a disappointing way in that there was nothing exciting in it!!!!

oh Myjack, Paddywhack please stop it, paddywhack put myjack back onto ignore and forget their attempts to wind you up, and Myjack please do as others suggest and stop posting posts that are not relevant to the topic in hand.

And please, nobody is saying don't have an opinion different to the author of the thread, just have some COMMON COURETESY and put your point across in a constructive way. Can't do that? Then either don't post or accept that people will reply to tell you you are being out of order.

Ok really confused i dont come on here often as i have been sorting out getting a horse/companion for pippa.
but what i have been reading it started off about JG farm and then a little while after their is a post about lying.
I think JG farm is horrible.

well i think you have got two options be friends or go your seprate ways.
I dont really know people on here so i dont want any enmies but please MJ and PW please stop arguing
