I've expired from holding my breath so long, I've even forgotten which rug it was now! Hope you get a result SN.
I must be a mug as Tophorse still owes me my Bonner Bandage too; it's only been nearly 3 years now and she actually only read my last PM (from this time last year!) a couple of months ago.
One thing I hate is being ignored when I'm not in the wrong and sadly, Spotsmum and Tophorse have stopped me lending things to anyone now unless I know them well.
What worries me is that this seems terribly deliberate; not just a case of meaning to send it but not getting down to it, or something like that. This is a scam and it WILL go on, on this forum or another, unless the thief is stopped.
I think those who have been stung ought to make their response a bit more formal; pm Admin, tell the police, tell Inland Revenue, tell everyone; get this person's true name sent to the people who can do something about it. How many hundred pounds has this thief got, unearned, from the people you know alone?
This thief is arrogant and bold; she knows its not worthwhile for any one of you to pursue her (assuming it is a "her") for £80 or £90; she is smugly assuming, excuse me for saying it, that you are lazy mugs who won't bother to chase this up. Now SN has proven that this is happening, I think you ought to show the thief the positive power of networking and make life as miserable for her as possible.

I think we have to assume that spotsmum is quite happy to take the money that was sent to her in good faith, and thick skinned enough to keep posting on the forum like we all wont remember what a lying scammer she is..
It is a shame as it spoils things for other people. I bought a rug off SN a couple of years ago, didn't know her at all, but all was fine. If I had read a post like this beforehand though, it could well have put me off.
