It wouldn't be at all surprising if the sellers were aware of this thread and think they'll get their money as a pity buy. I have a DD special, but he's small and costs little to keep but I paid more than he was worth.

I hope they are aware, and aware that some of us have itchy fingers that want to get in touch with welfare places. Is she only advertised on dd?

Google the phone number...gives you another non-horse related advert which has her first name and village .

Her other half sells hen coops on Ebay - ring him & ask where to collect it from. I sent you the link.
I have reported the ad to a welfare charity and sent photo to them. I am not sure if anything will come of it but I have at least tried.

This is the reply I had from Redwings.....
Thank you for your email regarding the advert on Dragon Driving.

If you can find out more information on the exact location of the horse, I can pass it onto our field officer. In the meantime, I would advise contacting Trading Standards https://www.gov.uk/find-local-trading-standards-office , as the horse is being advertised for sale.

Kind regards,

Beth
Redwings Welfare Team

If anyone would like to take this forward with Trading standards or who knows the exact location.

If anyone knows exact location or can find out please take this further. I live in a completely different part of the country and can not really do any more. The ad is still there with reduced price.

God the poor thing, this breaks my heart. I have plenty of good grazing and spare stables here, but I really couldn’t spend that amount of money on an oldie :(
what if those who want to chip in?? Might be more than she is worth financially but it would mean she was safe.

We could do a go fund me page for her.

yes I would happily chip in. Just had another vets bill courtesy of an idiot letting their dog rampage round my field so definitely not in any financial position to buy her now. :(
