The best, in fact only, way to leave a thread is to not keep coming back to it.

Those who have watched your videos have indeed seen your riding and I'm sorry but even if you have been riding since before you could walk, you only have 13 years experience, which compared to most of the people who have replied with advice for you, is a mere blink of an eye.

Obviously we do not know, because you haven't told us about your family's horse experience but most people of 13 who can consider themselves experienced enough to bring on a project pony have the back-up of extremely experienced parents/other family.

The fact that you haven't mentioned family horses tends to show that you do not have that experience. There is no shame in that but problems arise when inexperienced riders refuse to acknowledge their lack of skill.

To be honest it would be better in terms of saleability of the pony if you’re not experienced. Because if you are, and this pony is still running out of small fences, and very nervous on roads, and only has the basics of schooling then she really is worth very little as there’s no hope of her being suitable for a child, and she wouldn’t be a straightforward project either.

It’s rather rude and immature to call someone inexperienced when you haven’t even seen them ride. No I don’t ride incredibly because she’s 5, my main aim is for her to be getting clear aids not for me to be looking perfect.

I’m referring to the one on Instagram with a 13 year old rider that is clearly inexperienced.

Honestly op you have to be realistically if you overpriced the pony it won’t sell at all I have seen it happen before. You should get someone who is experienced with selling a horses to price your pony.

You should keep this pony. She has the makings of a really nice quality mare. Arab x welsh is nice old fashioned breeding to create a quality PC pony. You wont be eventing next year even if you drop 40k on an FEI pony, so spend the time schooling this pony. The skills you learn doing that will be worth more than anything else and will set you up for a lifetime. If needs be send her off for schooling to get you both going and then invest in weekly lessons
