Yesterday I was out hacking on a green four year old in full flourescents with someone walking beside me. I felt her tense up and then heard horses hooves coming fast towards us. They appeared around the corner in trot - one riding and leading another with a rider on the led horse too. I expected them to slow down and ask to pass but instead they continued to trot very fast calling out that they couldn't stop as their horse was further along in the breaking in process than mine!!!!
I wouldn't dream of trotting past another rider on a lane and surely if she could recognise that my horse was newly backed then that was even more reason for her to slow down!
Not much point in this post just felt quite cross and feel like that kind of behaviour can lead to accidents.
