Oh, it's so reassuring to know it's not just me who has daft names for my ned (Milliepeg, milliemops, milliemoo, moobag, stinkypants, grumpyknickers....)
My Andalusian is called Jalisco but his wierd names range from Special Pants, Naughty Pants, Disco Knickers, Dick-Head, [****]-Wit, Bouncy Pants, Pillock etc etc
Hmm. The spooky pony also goes by Nibble-Pony (when he's tugging on my pockets in search of food), Snail-Pony (when he's reluctant to come in from the field), Turtle-Pony (ditto), Pony-Monster, Mr Spook (self-explanatory), the Spin Doctor (ditto), bl**dy idiot, bl**dy chicken, nitwit...oh, and Pony-Grenade. Right, I forgot Whale-Pony: he hears that a lot lately!
Nan the New Forest is known as 'Hedgehog' (for her ability to eat a hole in a hedge large enough to escape through) and 'Shrodinger's Pony' because she is a bay roan and when she stands against the hedge in winter she is completely invisible, so you can never tell whether she is in the field or not.
