I know snow is a bit of a pain when you're trying to get out and about, but it is pretty, so I thought a snow pictures thread would make up a little bit for those with outings cancelled this weekend :D

So here's mine:

NOT jealous! Still doing my no-snow dance so I'm happy to view the snow on the hills and have none on the floor ;) Pretty pics though!

OHHHHHH I'm so jealous!! no show in Hampshire!! Last snow pics I have are from five years ago :'(

It's beautiful - I'm very glad I had one emergency day of leave left and didn't have anything pressing on at work today to make the most of it without travel stress

Beautiful pictures!

We haven't had any proper snow, but Ed did get very over-excited by a tiny flurry earlier!

For some odd reason I cannot see your photos, but like milliepops, am keeping on with the 'no snow' dances here :)

Hope you've both got some slick moves as it is/was a fairly comprehensive chucking down here (there's about 4" lay now). Although the intermittent sun is so bright and warm it shouldn't be on the ground for long

We have snow too! No actual horses in my pic, which was taken a couple of hours ago, I think they are sheltering somewhere :o.

It has given me a chance to test out my naughty black friday purchase, a hay steamer. Steamed hay is a lot easier and more pleasant to deal with than soaked hay when it's blimmin freezing, that's for sure :D.

Lovely pictures, everyone! We only had a tiny little sprinkle of snow here, but we've got more forecast for the weekend, so hopefully some snow photos will be imminent!

I've got snow but I haven't taken pictures. I might have a lot more snow by tomorrow, so I'll get some then. I want to know how I turned out a two year old in it with a rug with leg straps on it, and he's come in without it. Where IS it? I'm not going out in this cold wind to find it in twelve acres!! Swine, he had to be wearing the only one I've got in that size, didn't he?

Oh Equi! Your minis in snow <3

My Westie critter likes snow, in fact she likes it so much that she likes to bring it inside with her...

Lily the Lakeland enjoyed the snow too, thankfully she was clipped on Monday so not much fur left for the snow to stick to...

DabDab loving your dog's snowballs...

No snow here as yet and hoping it at least holds off till Monday as we're supposed to be off dressage-ing on Sunday but forecast not looking good :(

What make did you go for?

Equi, your minis are gorgeous! Dabdab and Fiona, I love your snowy horse and dog pics!

The naughty JRT has not be seen outside today, after we've had more snow. He has been 'supervising' us doing the horses and general snow clearing from a warm vantage point in the kitchen on the windowsill. Quite rightly he is looking embarrassed in this pic!

I went for the smallest Haygain, the HG One. I have been dithering about getting one for ages, I did fear that it may be one of my expensive white elephants :o, but I am delighted with it. It takes about 4 sections or half a small rectangular bale of hay at a time. The cycle takes 1 hour, and it's easy enough to run it again soon afterwards if I need more hay steamed.

The main draw back is that the horses LOVE the steamed hay, so it soon gets eaten up :D
