Good luck all, especially anyone with veterinary issues.
Here is the Baby Spanish's wound after 2 weeks, healing really well and so lucky to have missed the joint capsules.
I'm not really being able to ride much as she gets stressed when I ride my other mare but not when she is in the field, weird animal ?.

Brilliant, i will take you up on that when the restrictions are over. You may need to do some pilates first ours are a bit wider than yours![]()
I would rather it hadn't happened, but I feel lucky that it could've been so much worse! That looks like a very narrow escape from a serious injury. Very lucky, if you can call an accident lucky.

Just being a silly baby, good news. You could try walk to canter instead of a transition from trot.
I read that initially as OH had bought an enormous ginger!uhhh, OH has just bought a ginormous digger. I predict next weekend will probably be digging out the old bits of fallen down wall, scrub and other general detritus ahead of a fencing marathon.... best get all my other jobs sorted this week as he will be AWOL all weekend pimping it![]()
Ah well, never actually made it onto a horse this weekend. Had my second covid vaccine and it's knocked me down badly, having to work night shift while feeling terrible was great fun! I managed to do a bit of core strengthening ground work with the broken TB though, she's a sweetie.
It's also been raining constantly, we are just south of some catastrophic and life threatening flooding (just over a year after the same regions had catastrophic fires, you couldn't make this stuff up...). It's forecast to rain more this week too, I hope it clears up enough to do some schooling before the competition next weekend. Being too wet to ride pales in comparison to those who have lost their horses to the raging rivers the last few days though
