Storm Amy..everyone ok?

In northwest, its not that bad, blustery showers, some windy moments but haven't seen any damage from it so we're getting off lightly.

Mine all came in for a few hours yesterday evening but were raring to go out again. I woke early and imagined them shivering at the gate so rushed to the yard and they're happily grazing or flat out asleep.

Same routine this evening, my biggest issue is everyone else on the yard bringing theirs in and having an opinion on me leaving mine out which they really feel the need to share

I’m not long home having been out since early afternoon. I’ve distance checked the horses by torch and they’re grazing calmly. Assessment of any wind damage will have to wait until the morning. I’m working on ignorance is bliss!

Ours were out for a few hours at lunchtime then in again when the wind restarted. I can't cope with the disgusting bed that results from Sadie being in, I need the weather to calm down tomorrow before I spend more on shavings than groceries.

Ours were in last night, out all day then got in again at 6pm. Rugged up and quite happy despite the wind chill, was absolutely Baltic in the wind!
