Miserable and grey here this morning, and back to Uni for me.
Last day of theory before back to placement Monday.

So no more commuting for a couple of months

Feeling better again today- both in body and mind. Saw H yesterday and had quite a big cuddle and told her I loved her.

f_s and slinks you should be paying no more than 33.5ppl. Phone around and try and get companies to match or beat. Prices came down today - which is great news

Morning all, having spent all week getting up at 7am (which I know isn't early to most of you but I'm not used to it yet) and going up the yard, I'm surprisingly not that knackered this morning (if that makes sense!)

Anyway, Bonnie (my dog not my horse) is much better this morning, thankfully, not going to have to go back to vets.

I am not busy at work today, have staff in, so I thought I'd pop down to Reading Horse Sale for a nose - might try for some stirrup irons as daughter needs bigger boots and I think current stirrups will be too small when she goes up a size - they are too small for her to borrow my (wide) boots thankfully, will leave rest of money at home today though.

Cannot believe how quickly this week has gone.

Morning, couldn't get on here yesterday. How dare work make me do something for my money.

Life is pretty good today. Lost 3lbs at Weighthwatchers (and then had steak and chips to celebrate

, well it was OH's birthday!)

Am trying very hard not count chickens. My sharer rode Arch last night (I was too scared to try him in case he was still lame

) just 10 minutes walking in the school, and reported that he was walking out beautifully and sound as a pound

. Fingers crossed it'll last as we build it up, i'll have a go tomorrow now I know he's ok.

Off to catch up with yesterday's thread's now!

Morning everyone

I'm sat in the office wrapped up in a coat, the heater is right next to me and I am still Freezing! It's so difficult to type as my hands seize up when they're cold

Giving the Beastie a day off today as I have ridden him everyday this week, will probably try and ride him Saturday or Sunday.

I finish work at 6 tonight, Yipppeee, so should be home at a halfway sensible time

All of you who have had porridge for breakfast have made me jealous, I could do with something warm like that to stop me shivering

Aw Horse_Crazy2, I'm usually chilled to the bone all day too. Last time I recovered when I went home by having a hot bath, then a boiling shower, then I let the bath fill up with the shower water and had another bath! Was in about 3 hours in all and looked like a prune all night!

You need some glove warmers (do such things exist?) and a hot cuppa. Wouldn't it be lush if you could go to work in your dressing gown or wrapped up in a duvet... mmmmm

vet has been to see cob with swollen leg and prescribed couple days of box rest, injection and bute

but good news archie can go back out now

am having my lunch now decided on soup as its cold
