Sweet FA.....Saturday!!!

What a wee scone - well wee not being the most suitable phrase - what a tall scone!
smile.gif

A scone is a turn of phrase - like 'aw little sconeface' would be a'w little cutie pie'.

Or if you had a little puppy it would be a little scone cause it would be so gorgeous.

So, Dubsies girlie is a scone cause she's a wee doll with long legs.

Mmmmm not sure if this explanation helps - would you like to jump into the mind of Laura for a minute for a full understanding?

Hi peeps!! How are we all doing??
grin.gif

Is absolutely piddling down here now
frown.gif
- am thinking there won't be any riding today unless its stops now!
frown.gif

Have been to see the eventer trial and saw the open class
crazy.gif
- one girl rode beautifully - the others had little or no control and should have been smacked with their sticks not smacking their horses. Anyhoo neice is well up for it an is going there to do an eventing clinic on Friday (is on half term) to give it a whirl before the next trial and the Oli Townend Challenge.
smile.gif

We had a quick stroll round the tack shop and I bought 2 pairs of long socks and some pink fleece bandages for neice - her horse is orange.......

Hi,
Have just spent 4 hours cleaning out my bedroom.
Its amazing how much junk you can gain over time, I'm a bit of a hoarder and go with the 'should I chuck it? No I may need it some day' kind of person.
But today I've forced myself to get rid of the clothes I never wear and the stuff that just sits in a drawer doing nothing.
Hope everyone has had a good day, even through the rain

I cleared out my wardrobe a few months back and although I haven't exactly bought anything since then I am going to have to go through it again I still have too many clothes I don't wear.
I am a pain at getting rid of things though as I want to sell them on so I get a couple of quid back but I know I will never get round to listing them all on ebay.

Evening all, Had a lovely day today
smile.gif

Little Jockey kindly fed Charlie this morning so I had a bit of a lie in. Then Little Jockey and me went for a great hack, had a couple of good gallops that really blew the cobwebs away. Charlie need re-clipping again though, he was sooooooo sweaty!

Got home thinking I would have a nice relaxing afternoon only to be told that even though the one lot of family that were staying with us had left this morning, another lot had suddenly decided to come and stay for the weekend. Cue a mad dash changing bedding and tidying round the house. We've got a great evening ahead though. Fridge full of booze (I've started drinking already
blush.gif
), homemade chicken curry and some more Ben and Jerry's. Will be watching the X-Factor and then a few films.

Free bar tonight so help yourself guys

Hope you have all had a great day!? And don't forget to enjoy your extra hour in bed tomorrow!

I dont have the patience either . Darcy was half-starved while I did it to stop him from shaking his head.

Im hoping and praying they're all in place in the morning!

We usually cut a tea towel up and put the square pieces over the plaits, that seems to work too, tight sound like a better idea though!

Lol I've just cut one of the legs off, and run that along his neck with bands on top

grin.gif
Would've liked to pull them over his whole neck just for a laugh haha - but he'd have killed me
