Slinks - how is the SS list coming along?

T - I read millions of books but I also proof read for my Gramps who reads books and that's great too.

I do like Dan Brown, Marian Keyes and cause of my job I still read a lot of kids books and must say Michael Morpurg is great
smile.gif

T - one of the best books I've read in ages is called Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts - you can get it on Amazon. Its a bit of saga set in the slums in India is a bit of a thriller to - just an all round good read - It took me about 3 days and i could read it again which is unusual for me as I can normally only read something once.

Hello All,
Been away for the weekend, very nice but a bit annoying when A's had the ok to build up the work and I have Auntie cooing duties to perform, but it's been planned for ages. I have the start of a cold as well so have been banned from visiting the little one anyway.

Now have a major choccy craving but having eaten half the food in Pembrokeshire this weekend I can't or I won't lose the 2lbs this week that will mean I have lost a stone, so I am holding firm and feeling virtuous.

Lots seems to have happened in a very short time while I've been away, hope the new yard is good Fi and that the test goes ok ldlp (I thought it was an L but then saw so many saying idlp that I just went along with it!)
Happy birthday P_P.
Bet the alcohol will do more for your arm than the painkillers SS!
I will have a think about the secret santa - need to work out how to put photos up before committing!

Oooh FS - I love historical fiction - checking waterstones now!

SV - I didn't enjoy Dan Brown's work as much as I thought I would, I'm not sure why because he is a fantastic writer!! I adore kids books to, I still have all mine from when I was a baby! I sometimes read them every now and then

If you fancy investing in some Childrens books the Heartland series is also amazing, I couldn't put it down when I was younger
