If you want something very gentle and easy to read any of the Number One Ladies Detective Agency series by Alexander McCall Smith are great. I always take them on holiday as you don't have to concentrate on them at all. At home I tend to read more of the classics - am reading Northanger Abbey at the moment as it's the only Jane Austen I haven't read, not as good as the others though. My all time favourite book though is To Kill a Mockingbird, everybody should read it and it's not difficult to get through either.

Samstar, is it all mouldy, or can you redeem some of it?? Is it hay or haylage? If hay, I'd peel away any mouldy bits until you get to the good stuff and feed that, if it's haylage then, unfortunately, if it's gone off there's not a lot you can do

Slinky - fine by me too!!

X Factor is now on - get rid of that danyl twit!!!!

evening all - went to work, all enjoyed taking mick out my cough and lost voice and it was decided I sound like a smurf - some customers said it was 'sexy' not sure on that one!

Have joined secret santa yey

going to have chocolate and vanilla cheesecake and baileys hot choccy now and another early night - need to catch up on here first!

Go on then count me in, missed all yesterday's so assume I pm slinky with my address etc?

Am feeling a bit cheeky this evening. Asked my friend if I can borrow her boy for a dressage comp on Sunday - she doesn't ride much at the moment as has two littluns and her sharer is a happy hacker. Not only has she said yes, but she's insisiting on clipping him for it! I have told her not to, that everybody at riding club has hairy monsters at the moment, and I will get him done when I get A done. (tried clipping myself once and promised never to do it again, he looked like a patchwork quilt) but she won't take no for an answer.

I'm being nosey and looking at old friends facebooks to see what they're upto

See, leave you alone for just a few hours...

.

Daughter and I went up to see RG and Roo this morning
grin.gif
. Both very nice people
smile.gif
. Had a good chat, and RG very kindly said we could go back in a couple of months to say Hello again
grin.gif
.

Picked up Friend. Went to the yard
smile.gif
. Friend's daughter did very well working her pony on the ground, including lunging her (pretty damn good for an eleven year old
smile.gif
). Daughter rode bareback, including galloping and jumping - her jumping is really coming on (we're very keen on getting the basics right) - I think she'll find it all so much easier once she's allowed her saddle back again lol. Friend's sharer cantered for the first time
smile.gif
.

No curled up on the sofa, watching a film, the fire is burning nicely, the lamps are all lit. Bliss
grin.gif
.

I've bee through a few pages, but became confuddled, so went straight to the end lol.

Gosh we are very intellectual tonight discussing books, SS first, book club next? Lol!

Right guys, I am going over to instructors tomorrow to practise for this bloomin team STRESSAGE so what's the best advice. I would say Pads defo needs a longer warm up to settle into a pace, Risky was a quick warm up so what is my plan of attack?
