Gooooooood morning sweet FA!

Haven't made it in here for a few days.

How is everyone doing? Been up to much? Have I missed any major gossip?

Would you all think I'm mean if I moved Genie again? I love the new yard, but she's getting rather stressy. She's very much become Mummy to the foal and yearling, and so won't relax in the stable because she can only see one of them. I thought I'd give her a while to settle, but she's getting worse... Any suggestions?

Off to sing in Clifton Cathedral shortly, then out for lunch in Bristol as my brother's visiting! He lives in Colorado so I don't see him very often, and we're all going out for lunch, sister's coming up from Taunton with the boys as well.

still can't be much worse than yesterday!

I forgot my yard keys, scaled the main gate with 2 rows of barbed wire, then promptly fell in the ditch

then when I got to work we had no water and a fist full of difficult customers! It always happens to me when the boss goes away and I'm left running the place!

Still positive thoughts for a new day! I at least remembered my keys this morning!

fihunt - If Genie isn't settling and you think that she won't get any better, then I'd move. It just ends up in a vicious circle, as it will stress you too. Hope you find a nice place

I've just ridden bog pony then am going to clip him in half an hour then ride the next one then cook lunch for OH and his best friend who are currently building me a MASSIVE 16 x 16 ft stable for bog pony. Yippee!! Then have electrician and best friend over to sort out electrics. Then walk hound pups and my dog. And then clean tack and sort out stuff for work. Then bed. I love Sunday's!!
 
morning all hope we are all wel today just popped in to say hello as just abour ro go get the horses done and then move ellie down to the stud before going to work so i will catch you all later
 
as I don't have a horse, I have a VERY lazy day. Just some chores, probably sort out my horsey wardrobe to make room for the new stuff I got from YHL yesterday. Think I will put away all my good T'shirts etc till summer or they get ruined just wearing them as extra layers.

Then may go and watch the SJ at Rod (if its on I can't remember)

Oh I do need to put all the rugs and stuff away at my yard now Jake has gone back
 
Morning. Going to get some writeing up done in a bit then frank is off to play nanny to baby mare this afternoon on her first hack (I have had strict words with him!)

Morning all

Sorry not been around much in last couple of weeks, work has been hectic and haven't had much time off. Back on nights again this week so not in the best of moods either.
Now off to the yard to sort out my horses, then food shopping, then cooking a roast, then assignment then blah blah blah list is endless!! Kids and hubby are somewhere in that list if I can remember what they look like- lol.

Looks like someone got out of bed the wrong side this morning...not really helpful advice when someone's feeling worried about their horse and looking for support...
 
afternoon all been done mucked out the horses (6 of them) haynets feeds and then took ellie to her new accomidation and she just said hello to the others and started munching so now in a rush as got to go to work after shower so might see you lot after 10 when i finish work

I beg your pardon? Moving my horse is not something I take lightly, as people on here will tell you. Also as people on here who know me will state, my horse gets the best possible care, I am by no means a novice, and only act in my horse's best interests. I moved her last week after months of deliberation to make me happy, and if she is not happy at the new place then I will find her somewhere where she is. I hope in future you will find out more about what has happened previous to things before making hurtful comments like this again, as I am indeed hurt by it.

SV could not have said it any better me thinks a troll as got loose. Anyway after the rude interuption good afternoon to one and all i wonder what the others have spent their hard earned money on at yhl. I have had a lazy day sunday lunch looks like it might end up more of a heavy supper. I have done the neds and not much else.

Went for a quick ride today, I lead Millie off Charlie but am getting quite concerned about her lack of fitness

She seems more unfit every time I take her out! Any ideas on how I can get her fitter?

Spent 2 hours up at the yard sorting the barn out so it is a bit more welcoming for the horses, I put half a huge bale of straw down which took ages

Horses came in and seemed to appreciated it, one of them rolled straight away

HC - I wish I could, but it's just her and the two babies at the new yard. Will see how things go for now and hope she settles. At the end of the day I will do what's right by her (which is NOT selling her despite what some people have said!).

ride got ruined though by some arsehole of a jogger who said'horses belong in fields not on roads!'
i said back 'joggers belong in gyms' amongst other things but did not swear
