)
Fi, it's only been a few days, she might settle, I'd stick with it for a little while but keep looking for somewhere else just in case.
It's obvious how many are away at YHL today, we were up to about 7 pages by this point last night!
Have done nothing horsey today, lots of family down visiting my sister and the new little one but as they don't want to disturb her too much so they descend on me and my mum instead so have been making coffee, serving biscuits and entertaining 2 year olds all day.

Looking forward to the dressage report S_V, especially as it sounds like it'll be good.

tbh i was abit gobsmacked with what he said and suprised myself in coming back with what i did

got horse dentist tomorrow so that'll be fun

off to have a bath now so will catch up later

Sounds like the rest of you have gone between being busy and doing nothing!!

We had a very busy day at YHL

- the highlight for me was meeting the Sweet FA crew and seeing Sylvia Loch - she was inspirational!!

There were various purchases made and everyone was having a good time - will let them tell you what they got and saw as we all did different things as well as hanging out together

. I am now offically a convert to Classical Riding and will probably become evangelical about it - sorry!!

Am looking into possibly having some lessons with Sylvia Loch - she is based in Scotlland so can pop in on S_V and tikino when I go!!

How is the list of events coming along DL?

Did try and text you but must have missed a number out of your number as it wouldn't send

I'm fed, watered and de watered and back too!!!

It was lovely to see everyone today.

Watch the Sylvia Loch, and Tim Stockdale demos, but couldn't get to see the Police one as we were too late, and it was packed!!

Shops are a bit hit and miss at YHL, but still managed to spend more money than I intended

P_P got a new bridle, jacket, and a Le Mieux half pad!!

I got some slosh wash, shows who does the dirty work eh??

I'm quite glad I didn't go, was offered a seat on a bus trip at the last minute but it was leaving at 7am and I wasn't organised. I would only have spent a fortune on stuff I don't need.

To be honest, Tim Stockdale was entertaining, and if you are into jumping then the demo was good.

For me personally I found Sylvia Loch inspirational. She just made perfect sense to me!!

Yes HC, I got the slosh wash!!

P_P got the nice bits!!

Flippin' teenagers!!

She even bought herself a jacket, and is having it embroidered, and, I was forced to buy her a very nice saddlecloth!!

Very thin, but with a suede grip underneath

and welly socks that are brill!!

Was a great day out and the demos were very good, I enjoyed Sylvia's (sp?) the most and Tim's was good too.. however I found Andrew Gould's to be a disappointment and the second part was boring!

Am very chuffed with my purchases though!!! And was great to meet everyone!

P_P - I'm with you on the Andrew Gould - I left after about 15 mins as I found him boring

- mind you it was just after Sylvia so I think it just accentuated the difference between their training methods and approach to riding/horses.

This is just my opinion, I hasten to add!!, but I saw some very dodgy riding techniques today!!

I find I battle in my mind with, if it works for them, who am I to say any different, and, it's not how I would like to forge a partnership with my horse

That's why Sylivia Loch makes so much sense to me. I confess I've been a fan of classical riding (or riding with the horse) for a long time. Ever since I heard about the way masters could stop a horse by just sitting down!!

Please don't beat me up!!! I'm not a bunny hugger, honest!!

ive just spend ages getting escaped horses in again!!

elec is going on 2moz

they get me so mad sometimes

cleo was being a right muppet kept spooking away from me

then went in wrong stable

cue me shouting, doesn't help i got a banging headache and didnt to spend an extra 15 min getting them in

was half tempted to leave them out!
